In 2019, the Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité (RTE) launched a broad study on the evolution of the electricity system entitled “Energy Futures 2050: the generation mix scenarios under consideration for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050″. This study involves an unprecedented approach to consultation and transparency involving interested stakeholders at all stages of the construction of the scenarios, until the publication of their full analysis in autumn 2021.

During this webinar, Olivier Houvenagel and Marc Le-Du from RTE (Réseau de Transport de l’Electricité, the French electricity grid operator) will present the study and the underlying modelling approaches.
