Data & Environment: Towards a Sustainable Future

For its second edition, the association “Sorbonne Développement (SDD) invites you to submit proposals for papers to participate in an international conference on sustainable development.

It will be delivered by doctoral students and intended for a wide audience from 12 to 14 April 2022 at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne & La Cité du développement durable. During three days, four defined themes, according to the applications, will be put forward to meet and discuss the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the environmental transition. The various themes addressed will therefore allow for questions to be asked about the use of data, its structure information/processing, in connection with the ethical aspects of environmental and more particularly satellite data in the framework of the 17 SDGs. They will be facilitated by experts, Ph.D. students, and researchers. including artistic performances and awareness-raising workshops.

It is expected that the international conference will be held in English, in a hybrid way, both physically in Paris (regulations permitting), and via virtual participation in case of travel restrictions.
